LET'S FOCUS ON A CONCEPT THAT WORKS
Ce concept qui a pignon sur rue au Danemark est entrain de s'installer tout doucement en France et à l'étranger (3 boutiques en France). Le slogan "All over the world" en dit long sur l'ambition de l'enseigne.
This very well known concept in Danemark is emerging little by little in France and abroad. The slogan "All over the world" can tell you a lot about the brand's ambition.
J'ai découvert cette marque, il y a 2 ans, avec l'ouverture de leur première boutique près de Roissy CDG dans le centre commercial Aéroville (ce n'est pas la porte à côté je vous le concède très volontiers).
I discovered the brand 2 years ago with the opening of their first shop next to Roissy Charles de Gaulle (the international Parisian airport) in the Aeroville shopping center(for sure quite far).
J'ai profité de l'occasion où j'ai conduit mon mari à Roissy lors de l'un de ses déplacements professionnels en Chine pour arpenter les allées de cette boutique. On y trouve des articles déco pour la maison, le bureau, des petits accessoires pour révéler notre côté créatifs (peinture, couture, tricot...). Les adeptes du "Do it Yourself DIY" adorerons. Tout cela à prix incroyablement doux!
I took the opportunity to walk through this shop, when I drove my husband to the airport during one of his business trip to China. You can find plenty of home and office decoration items, small accessories which will help to reveal your creative side (painting, sewing, knitting...). Do it yourself DIY fans will love it. All of it at incredibly low cost !
J'ai acheté cette corbeille couleur menthe à l'eau, à 12,33 €, qui servira à ranger les doudous de ma fille et qui se marie plutôt bien avec la desserte Ikea. A l'intérieur de la corbeille, un petit coussin pour enfant Ferm Living (hé oui encore cette marque !). Vous remarquerez le coussin lion de la marque OyOy ainsi que le tipi Gray Label que je vous présenterai bientôt.
I bought this mint basket for 12,33 € that will be used to store my little girl's teddy bears. It matches very well with my Ikea trolley. Inside the basket, a Ferm Living kids cushion (Yeahh this brand again !) You have also noticed the lion pillow from OyOy and the Gray Label tipi that I will introduce you soon.
J'ai également pris ce petit panier rectangulaire noir à 11,06€, un lot de 6 trombones couleur cuivre à 0,88€, une carte postale "Save a smile for a rainy day" à 0,43€ (plus que jamais d'actualité n'est-ce pas?!). En revanche, l’œuf en marbre n'est pas made "SOSTRENE GREENES", il m'a été offert et fait simplement partie du décor :-)
I also took this black rectangular small basket for 11,06€, 6 copper paper clips at 0,88€, a postcard "Save a smile for a rainy day" à 0,43 € (just as topical as ever, isn'it?!). However, the marble egg is not made by "SOSTRENE GREENES", it is a gift simply used for the decor actually ;-)
Pour information, la nouvelle collection des sœurs Greene arrive bientôt, le 10 mars prochain, une bonne occasion d'y retourner faire un tour...

Un petit coup de cœur pour la "Side table", une table basse au look à la fois industriel et vintage aux pieds en métal et au plateau en contreplaqué pour le côté brut.
I had a crush for the "Side table", a coffee table, with both industrial and vintage look, iron legs and plywood top for the raw look.
J'aime le cadre de leur boutique, façon chalet de montagne cosy qui diffuse une atmosphère
chaleureuse.

En effet, les présentoirs en bois réchauffent le lieu. L'éclairage tamisé joue aussi un rôle primordial. C'est un vrai régal pour les yeux. Tout comme l'enseigne néerlandaise Hema, l'univers danois des Sœurs Grène est une véritable leçon de design sobre et efficace ne rimant pas forcément avec cher...
Indeed, the display stands in wood warm up the place. The softened lighting plays also a very important role. It is very pleasing to the eye. As the Dutch trademark Hema, Sostrene Greenes Danish universe is a real sober and efficient lesson of design which doesn't necessarily go with expensive...
Ils ont tout compris ces scandinaves ! À côté, nos magasins Casa, La Foir'Fouille ou Noz peuvent se rhabiller... Nous sommes bien loin également du mastodonte Ikea avec ses surfaces de vente XXL. Chez les sœurs Grène c'est très cosy. Maintenant plus besoin d'aller jusqu'à Roissy (ouf!), une boutique à la Défense a ouvert ses portes récemment.
Je m'y suis rendue récemment, voyez un peu ce sur quoi j'ai succombé :
These Scandinavian people know all about it ! Compared to our shops Casa, La Foir'Fouille or Noz can go back where they came from... We are also far from the giant Ikea and its XXL sales areas. At Sisters Greene, it is cosy. Now, no need to go anymore to Roisy (Phew!), a shop in La Défense has opened recently.
I have been there, look at what I fall for :
Une corbeille de rangement noire à 22,13€ avec un des coussins Ferm Living, une marque que j'affectionne particulièrement et dont je vous en dirai du bien lors d'un prochain post (soyez patients s'il-vous-plaît ;-))... On retrouve aussi un petit coussin cœur gris trouvé chez Primark, l'enseigne discount d'origine irlandaise qui part à la conquête de la France (8 magasins à ce jour).
